Birthday cupcakes (complete with Christmas-tree sprinkles) for preschool snack

Make a wish! (2 days later we were driving in the car, and he announced "I can't tell you my wish, because then it might not come true, but I still know what it is, but I can't tell you." Then he told me what it was - he wants to fly a space ship - not just be a 'rider' (he clarified), but the 'driver'. I have a feeling that's not going to come true - at least, not this year. :) LOVE that boy!

Can any child resist balloons??

Well-child checkup turned strep-throat and asthma management - allergy medicine, albuteral for the nebulizer and azithromycyn for the strep. YUCK YUCK YUCK! I thought he just had a cold. (lovin' that bad mom guilt)

Valentine's dinner = lots of red food coloring! (I hereby declare holidays and birthdays get two pictures each)

I forgot to take pictures till they were asleep -- snow day #3 -- we had a 4 day weekend already scheduled, so K only had school 2 times in the last 11 days.  We're all pretty sick of snow days at this point.

A bit of a media breach, but I love it. 

Peaceful Sunday afternoon (Sentra stuck at the grocery store...)

Post-Family Home Evening trauma - 2 legs in one pajama pant-leg (called PJ Tails at our house as the other pant-leg dangles in the back) + two wiggly front teeth + a fall + a dentist daddy = $2 from the tooth fairy (with the help of a little local anesthetic!) (sentra still at the grocery store...)

How do I say this without sounding sappy??  Every morning she walks away and I feel it.  I wonder what it felt like to my mom when I got on the plane to go back to college, or when I moved half way across the country with my baby.  How far can your heart stretch?

My Project

I am a project person - I don't particularly like maintenance, but I love a good project. 
I don't know much about taking pictures, but I love to document through photographs.  So this project is an effort to turn the maintenance into the project - focus in on the daily stuff that adds up to make me and my family.  My 30th year in pictures.
